Robert Cathcart says

I haven't lived in the village for the last 10 years so if anyone wants to finish this off with the history of the last decade

Archie Nicol says

2009. Neil Smith still hasn't bought a round!

Akademos Alba says

Amazing wee place of contrasts. Richest people and worst neds in West Scotland. Best views in Scotland. Best railway station in Scotland (well, Wemyss Bay used to be called North Skelmorlie!) Worst roads this side of the A99 in Caithness. Worst drivers in Scotland. Lovely red sandstone buildings. Warm. Wet. Windy.

Robert Cathcart says

Not got any of top 100 rich people, no neds worth bothering about, Wemyss Bay was never called North Skelmorlie, A78 is not in top ten worst death toll list, there isn't any evidence linking Skelmorlie and bad driving, your name isn't Akademos Alba but pleased to meet you anyway - you got the "Amazing wee place" right before lapsing into a load of shite.

Archie Nicol says

Well said, Mick.

Anette Light-Arthur says

Memories, Nostalgia & History

History doesn't have to be in black & white

Your memory of a local character or a school photo from the last ten years can be just as interesting as wars and Victorians.
