Flying Boats on the Clyde

From 15-26 June there will be an exhibition at Wemyss Bay Station Gallery on the Largs Flying Boat Base during the Second World War.

The exhibition is the work of Ian Winstanley, and there will be a Catalina gun turret on display.

Saw the exhibition at the gallery/bookshop yesterday - super photographic record of an important piece of history ... we were surprised how flimsy the gun turret looks - I would have felt very vulnerable had I been the gunner.
