We're very pleased to say that Billie Walker has agreed to become Community Correspondent for s1skelmorlie.

Billie has lived in the village since 1981 and has been involved in a number of groups including Toc H, Community Council, Beavers and youth clubs.

s1skelmorlie is still an open forum for anyone who lives in area to talk about Skelmorlie life - if you live in Skelmorlie then this site is yours to post to.

But we're delighted that Billie has agreed to give Skelmorlie a hand by collecting and posting snippets of local news. It's a real service that Billie is doing for Skelmorlie, and we're extremely grateful. She isn't a professional journalist, just a member of the community doing her bit.
