Skelmorlie residents to look out for yellow and blue Cats Protection people in centre
Skelmorlie residents are being asked to look out for Cats Protection volunteers around the town centre on Saturday, November 12.
The Inverclyde branch of the feline charity will be setting up stalls in the area, giving out free cat care information and telling people what they do.
They will also be promoting the cats that are currently in their care looking for loving homes.
Mary Millar, coordinator at Inverclyde Cats Protection, said: “Unfortunately, we can't give exact locations, as it depends on where we can safely be without causing obstruction and we are also relying on the weather being dry.
"But we are very brightly coloured in yellow and blue, so wherever we are, you can't miss us!
“We hope to recruit volunteers, especially owner drivers and foster carers. We will have a collection box too and information on how people can help.
“It is all about letting people know we are in the area and also a bit about what we do and how people can help.”
